Prize-winner of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for pianists, composers and conductors (Moscow, 2022; 1st prize and gold medal)
Graduated from the Glinka Choral College (St. Petersburg) and Saint Petersburg Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov (choral conducting department, class of Professor T.Khitrova and the opera-symphonic conducting department, class of Professor A. Polishchuk). Filipp took part in masterclasses held by Vassily Sinaisky (2015), Bruno Weil (2015), Dorian Wilson (2016), Vladimir Fedoseev (2017).
Filipp is the laureate at the V International competition for young conductors of symphony and chamber orchestras named after I.Musin (3rd prize, 2019); laureate at the III Open St. Petersburg international competition of conducting (1st prize, 2019).
Filipp has performed with such orchestras as the orchestra of the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, the orchestra of the St. Petersburg Academic Capella, the Kostroma Philharmonic Orchestra, the Astana Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Youth Symphony Orchestra.
In cooperation with the soloists of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers, he has staged and conducted: Zumsteeg’s “Lenore”, and sacred operas "Saint Peter the Apostle" and "Alexander Nevsky" by contemporary composer Grayr Khanedanian.
2017-2019 - conductor of the Mikhailovsky Theatre (St. Petersburg), where he made his debut with the Rossini’s “Il barbiere di Siviglia” at the opening of the 2017/18 season, and then conducted Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”, Tchaikovsky’s “Iolanta”, Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana”, Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci”, Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty”, and the ballet “Multiplicity. Forms of Silence and Emptiness” set to music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Since 2019 Filipp is a trainee of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow.
In 2020 he made his debut at the “Helikon-Opera” with the premiere of the “Hin und zurück”. From the 2020 - conductor of the “Helikon-Opera” theatre under Dmitry Bertman.
Information

Philipp Selivanov studied at the Glinka Chorus Academy. In 2010, he entered the Chorus Conducting Department of the St Petersburg State Conservatoire. In 2018, he graduated from the Opera and Symphony Conducting Department of the Conservatoire. He participated in master classes held by Vassily Sinaisky (2015), Bruno Weil (2015), Dorian Wilson (2016), and Vladimir Fedoseyev (2016).

In cooperation with the soloists of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers and Grayer Khanedanian, he staged Zumsteeg’s Lenore at the Peterhof Palace and Khanedanian’s Saint Peter the Apostle at the St Petersburg Capella.

In September 2017, he made his debut at the Mikhailovsky Theatre with Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia.
